There is something about the Holiday Season and fun, festive appetizers. My love of Pillsbury crescent dough and easy apps continues. Today I am sharing a fun two ingrestient Candy Cane Danish. Not candy cane flovour mind you but a fun candy cane shape.

2 Ingredient Candy Cane Danish
There is no end to the options of fun entertaining when you have Crescent dough. Limited only by our imagination and the ingredients you have on hand. Today, cherries are going to be creatively used to make a Christmas Candy Cane Danish.
Such a simple treat and so easy to make.
Ingredients for a Candy Cane Danish
Some may consider this a three ingredient app, but honestly is cooking spray actually an ingredient lol. Parchment paper is also a great alternative.
- Cooking Spray
- 10oz Cherry Pie Filling (Half Can)
- 8oz Crescent Rolls (8pk)
Time to Create a Christmas Treat
This fun treat does not require much experience in baking just an ability to turn on an oven and follow a few simple directions. This Danish is a fun foray into your baking experience.
- Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Unroll crescent dough & on a cookie sheet, place crescent triangles lengthwise in long row, pointing same direction, with edges overlapping slightly on cookie sheet.
- Press overlapping edges together to help seal, but leave triangle points free.
- Spread the cherry pie filling in 1-2 inch wide strip lengthwise on widest part of dough.
- Fold over tips of dough to enclose filling.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until crescent dough is golden brown.
