I did an entire post on this question already here, and yes it is still Miracle on 34th followed by Die Hard 1 and 2,
Christmas is probably the only time I do not volunteer at the moment, mostly because for the past 7 years it was when the boys would come visit so all our tine was spent together. We do participate in a lot of United Way activities though.
3. What is your favorite toy received as a child for the holidays?
My Velvet Doll, the year I got Velvet one of my sisters got Chrissy and it was like we got dolls like ourselves. They both had hair that grew when you pressed their belly button. I kept her forever and finally gave it to my youngest niece Heather when I moved to Ottawa 7 years ago
4. What was your must have item in high school for the holidays?
My Parents and siblings lived overseas when I was in high school, school only went to grade nine in Saudi Arabia so I Lived with my grandparents), so I was always more happy to be coming home, so I guess my must have was a plane ticket to see my family.
5. What do you do on Christmas Eve? If you are Jewish what does your family do for Hanukkah?
On Christmas Eve, we go to the early service at Church ( 7:00) as it is more about children and families. and such a nice service. Then normally stop by a dear friends for some Christmas cheer as she has an annual get together and it has become a tradition since we moved to Ottawa to see her and her girls, then home for some Christmas music, a little champagne, and just quality time together.
