Who is not excited about the fact that in just five, count em five days it is St Patrick’s Day. I know some of you may be feeling a little down that it is on a Monday, but on the positive side, normally the bars all start the party on Friday so you can dress all in green and celebrate for three whole days ( may want to take Tuesday off though). Last year we took the two boys out, they had never been to a St Patty’s Day celebration in a somewhat Irish Town so it was an awesome experience ( especially when Dad is paying for all the drinks)
( all I have is a few random instagram shots guess we were to busy celebrating so we will skip the recap of lat year’s fun)
Today I am teaming up with Lindsay over at Pursuit of Pink t
o bring you a few St Patty’s Day suggestions.
It wouldn’t be an Irish Celebration if we did not deck ourselves out all in green now would it.
Ironically I seem to have a ton of green in my closet ( no Irish in this Girl) so the difficulty sometimes is deciding what to wear. I love this Kelly Green Dress that I purchased at Old Navy a few years ago, it’s more of a summery style but paired with leggings and Boots I think it will do.
Personally I do not think it is fair that I have to put up with this much snow and have you seen Lindsay’s pictures, yea doesn’t look like a lot of snow there does it.
Trust me folks the nails will be changed before Monday but I wanted to show off my little shamrock ring
Loving her sweater and scarf in such soft shades of green, hope on over to get the full details of Lindsay’s outfit and while you are there enter the little rafflecopter for some free ad space.
Do you celebrate March 17th, do you go all out??? I love everything from wearing green , to drinking green beer, to singing loudly in the bars all our favourite Irish tunes… and last but certainly not least decorating my house.
( Stay tuned for that this weekend but a little sneak peek)
