Dots, periods and punctuation

True confession I have never been a big fan of style board posts,  don’t get me wrong I love polyvore but for a post my preference is the full outfit and seeing how it looks on a real person,  a real person not a model, not an impossible to achieve body but a real life person. So bet your asking WTH??? Why am I posting a board, well stuck in Yellowknife with no tripod and no ability to take pictures outside, this at least gives you a real idea of the colours and the pieces. Dots and checks, can you tell how I feel about mixing LOL

Wearing one of my fav suits from Target but this time with a few dots or periods. And by periods I am referring to punctuation, because ironically I was in Yellowknife for an Arbitration hearing that truly was all about punctuation.  Seriously, the hearing was how to interpret a comma and a semi colon and did they actually mean an “and” or an “or”  YEA I now how frigging exciting right. I am living the life when I am arguing about punctuation.  I think I should have called on a few of my blogger buddies, calling all you teachers how do you feel about semi colons. ( Personally I would like it abolished at the moment) I am betting a few of you would not have minded coming to Yellowknife for a night to talk about punctuation, am I right??

  • Haha! As an English teacher I refuse to talk semi-colons in my time off! 😉 (Literature I'd talk about all day though!) I'd much rather see outfits on a real person too. I'm totally with you on that. Starting a link up party on Fridays and I'd love it if you'd join us!

  • Hilarious mug! I really love this outfit with the blazer on and off!

  • The semi colon is my second favourite punctuation Mark, pipped to the post by the em dash. Now the em dash conference is something I would love to attend! Great suit!

  • Love the mix of patterns! Great outfit, and hopefully a fun distraction from that riveting topic 😉

  • I love your pattern mixing and what a great suit!
