At this very moment ( ok not this moment that you are reading but when I actually sat down in my room and started thinking about today and creating a post) there is an open bar and a party going on, and I am here in my room, is that total dedication or plain stupidity?? I am still not sure which side of the coin I am falling on tonight but I do know that there are positive sides to both Plus I have to confess if I had of worked on my post at 5:00 when the conference ended instead of taking a nap I most likely would not be typing now….
Today was the start of my very first Blissdom Canada Conference ( and sadly my last as this is the last) What an amazing day, I spent 6 hours+ listening to some awesome bloggers teach me about monetizing and thinking outside of the box. ( Thank you Blogging Concentrated and Dan and Rachel ( Findingjoy.net)) In the evening I attended a lovely meet and greet and then the Keynote from Choir!Choir!Choir! and that open bar… more about all of that later.
Blue Mountain Resort is a beautiful place and yes I am taking lots of pictures and will tell you all about it just not today.. Today is just about how easy it is to walk around a hotel with a tripod and camera and take outfit selfies. I am totally serious here people, very freeing to be taking selfies at a blogging conference, no-one seems to be judging so I actually feel like I am looking totally relaxed and non chalent in my pics today. ( Plus I love this outfit)
The pants you have seen before, my Harpers ( oh man I still hate using that word) but I found this awesome sweater at Old Navy and it just seems so perfect, add my leather moto and my leopard boots and I think I have a pretty cool outfit to showcase at a blogging event.
and then at lunch time I discovered so many more great places to take pictures
Pants and sweater ( and tank) -Old Navy, Jacket-Rue 21, Gloves-Coach, Purse-Kate Spade, Boots-Shoe Dazzle and Necklace-Look Book
