Loving Life after 50

Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint, Reds Rum and the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar

Welcome Back to my Carnival Tour

Well it is Thanksgiving so it seemed fitting to start looking at some food on the Carnival Cruise Ships. Carnival has teamed up with best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy’s Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own.
How seriously delicious does this look? So if you are just joining us you can check out the Carnival Decks or the Serenity Areas after you take a cruise through the Burger joint ( ha ha did ya catch that “cruise” through)

The burger joint on the Carnival Cruise Ship is poolside, and trust me you can’t miss it, just head for the line up of people waiting for their fresh burgers and fries. Not only are the burgers delicious but the decor is pretty cool, diner style for sure ( with the exception of the 360 degree ocean view) And if you catch it at the right moment and there is no line just look for Red’s Rum Bar ( lots of glorious rum drinks) its beside this bar.

or if you are at the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar ( directly opposite Red’s) just gaze across the pool and there are the burgers. ( Rum Bar, Tequila Bar and a burger bar all beside the pool how awesome is that right, and I have not even mentioned the Taco bar yet)

So you can tell from the look on our faces the drinks are awful and the food sucks, just kidding people I could eat these burgers all day, every day and as for drinks, well just alternate so both sets of bar staff feel loved. We just hate cruising, and have I mentioned yet we are already booked for an eight day out of Fort Lauderdale in February, here we come Carnival Cruise
