Loving Life after 50

True North Strong and Free, on My Canadian Outfit.

Lou has her opinions
Well after a spectacular weekend away ( OK five days not a weekend) and a shopping trip to TARGET, I came home to this face and she did not leave my side from the moment we walked in the door at 2:45 until bedtime ( and even then she followed us to the bed.. I love feeling loved. I mean look at those eyes, such a cuddle puss she is.
What a whirlwind, 4 nights, 4 hotels and after that I can tell you quite honestly 95% of the time I do not feel old but today my bones are a little achy… ok they are a lot achy and I may have spent a lot of time in the hot tub when we got home. ( and did I mention tomorrow I fly to Vancouver for one night and then home on the red eye, I am a crazy fool)

So I got a ton of pictures at the vineyards we visited ( a few at the game) and absolutely no outfit pictures until I got home so you can imagine, OK maybe you can’t but for this weekend I figured I would forego the outfit pictures and give Kent a blogging break ( well except food and wine right) but I did grab a few shots of my travel home outfit, totally casual but totally comfortable

Yep, its true something about my buffalo shirt ( Forever 21), Boyfriend Cardigan and Canada Shirt (Old Navy) and chucks that scream travel to me and for today I added a pair of Forever 21 Black distressed boyfriend jeans ( and a Union Toque from the Yukon) last seen here with white denims and red hair.
Please forgive the bags under the eyes and the look of total exhaustion, I slept like a baby the whole time till Saturday night and then I could not sleep, I think I watched 4 episodes of Pretty Little Liars as Kent slept ( and yep it shows)
For this Monday after a wonderful trip to the Finger Lakes Wine Region I am only posting about outfits and my little Lou but get ready to experience a few fantastic vineyards over the next few days.

Hope you had a great weekend and lets hope we are in for a good week, please note I am not being callous and ignoring the tragedy that has befallen so many and affected the status of the world but this is another of those tragedies that seems to be bringing out the craziness in all of us, right or wrong for today I will only say my heart and prayers are with every person who has had to live in fear and terror, every person who has suffered at the hands of a terrorist, an extremest or just a criminal, to everyone who has suffered a loss my heart is with you and for those in Paris yes my heart is with you today, tomorrow and all tomorrows.
and hopefully I do not offend you but remember last week when this was the most important thing ever??
