Vacation time, I seriously have to allocate a little blogging time and try to make sureI don’t leave you hanging. I am not sure where my time seems to be going but the days are seriously flying by. We only have one more day Ottawa before we head to Thunder Bay, and it looks like it is going to be a wonderfully hot and sultry day.
Today I am wearing my Mumford and Sons concert outfit because yesterday was a shorts and swimsuit kind of day. Figured if I was wearing the Mumford outfit I could at least show you a few shoots. It was a seriously amazing experience, I have waited a long time to see Mumford and it was definitely worth the wait.
Do you have a band that you have waited to see, one that you were sure life would be just as great as on their vinyl?? Mumford was that band for me, one I kept hoping was going to be booked at Bluesfest but it never seemed to coincide. That is the one fumy about festivals, people seem to think that organizers just randomly select bands and book them, but and it is a huge but a band needs to be in tour mode, or releasing a record or even on the same continent to be festival available. Mumford was never touring in North America during Bluesfest so…. I never had a chance to see them. I was thrilled when Ottawa announced they were going to be playing at the Canadian Tire Center in June. Tickets were hard to get but I managed and Kent and I had an amazing concert experience.
I went the basics and wore my Haggar Dream Jeans with a vibrant peasant top that I have owned for years. Threw a crochet cardi over top and added my rodeo boots. Perfect concert outfit with a little festival vibe.Went the curly tousled look and I was set to go.
