Loving Life after 50

Farbod Barsum and my Dream Bag of many Colours

It is no secret that I have a love of handbags but I am a bit of an elitist…. meaning not any handbag catches my eye. Its the pretty, unique bags that I adore so imagine my delight when I stumbled upon the Farbod Barsum line.

FARBOD BARSUM founded in 2010 represents the utimate in Couture Exotic Skin Handbags and Accessories.
A company commited to quality, luxury, and refinement. It is the attention to detail and understanding the complexity of working with exotic skins that gives their bags a definitive edge.  A line born out of a passion for classical styling paired with modern vision in composition, FARBOD BARSUM gives you the finest in exotic skin accessories.
Sadly for me they are a Beverly Hills based design house, so hopefully a trip to California is in my near future.  The purses, bags and accessories are manufactured in the U.S. The sources of their materials are sustainably harvested and dyed in chrome free tanneries making their approach to design both ethical and ecologically sound.
The skins used in the manufacturing process are registered with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department and meet strict compliance with the international requirements of CITES. The designs are hand crafted by master artisans resulting in wearable art that is sought after by  International Royalty, Celebrities, and Socialites.
So an elite line that places a value on ethical and ecological practices.
I was browsing the site and created my own little wish list of bags I would love to own.
How seriously stunning is the Mona or the Raymond in Chartreuse?

For today I am dreaming of a stunning bag, one that appeals not just for astetics but how it was created.  A company that I can truly get behind.  Go take a look for yourself and discover Farbod Barsum, not just the company but the man behind the line as well.
You can check out who else loves their bags even more than I do, if that is even possible  on their Instagram or Facebook
