Pink Rose Tablescape for a “Pal”entine Table

We had company for dinner on Saturday and I thought we would celebrate Palentimes Day.  I mean really Galentines seems to be a big thing but what is it called in mixed company.  Pal seemed to make sense to me

Our guests were bringing their five year old daughter so I thought I would try to stick with a slightly girly theme. Plus an excuse to learn a few more napkin folds i promise I will be sharing soon. Today the theme seemed to call for heart napkins and the Sydney Fan fold.  I actually made two heart napkins to hide under the soup bowls as a surprise for the little one.

Kent outdid himself with Garlic Soup, followed by ceasar salad.  The main course was Pasta with chicken cutlets and then I made the Kentucky Bourbon mousse for dessert.

I opted for the every day china, the white just seemed a perfect contrast to the tablecloth. (its a cuisinart spillproof so worry free) I did add my Oneida silverwear (no longer available but similar).
Again the perfect centrepiece is a collection of things you love from around your home. I started with the pink roses I picked up at the grocery store and just kept expanding the look.
