Red Silk and a Floral Oxford for a Labour of Fashion

Red silk pants witha floral oxford from shoe dazzle

It’s A Labour of Fashion time, a day I hope you all come over to see me and drop a link and hopefully a comment. I love seeing all of the awesome outfits everyone is wearing. Plus are you visiting each other? Linking up is more than just getting your post seen. It is all about discovering new friends, new passions and new fashions. Speaking of new passions how about those floral oxfords.

Wearing a spring bouquet on my feet is an attempt to bring spring forward. My Floral oxfords are my go to shoe when I feel the need to challenge the season. They work with a striped dress, shorts and a tee, houndstooth, or even Chambray. A versatile shoe that goes with everything.

Twitter Parties

Can we talk twitter parties for just a minute?  They are my latest obsession. Tonight I participated in the BConnected Party and the Ford Canada Chat at the same time.  What a blast and I won tickets to the Interprovincial Bridge Picnic on July 2nd.  This sold out event has never before happened in Canada and I am thrilled to be able to attend.  I never use to do a lot on twitter and now I am wondering why. Great way to connect with people and brands. Fun contests daily and a source of amazing recipes.  Twitter you have caught my eye.

Bad Pose

The bad thing about being a daily blogger on outfits is that often weather is uncooperative or poses do not work.  Sometimes I try and get cute and it really does not work. This apparently is my Godzilla impression.

The shoes and the necklace are both total outfit outfit makers Linda. Sometimes when I review the outfit shots I’ve taken I crack up…something you thought looked so cool ends up being hysterical! 🙂

    • exactly, I try the serious poses thinking I look mysterious or modelesque and then actually look at them and cry….straight and smiling serves me best

  • Oh the blogger pose struggle. I have definitely thought “yeah this is a great idea!!” And then I see the photo and am like “good Lord, what was I thinking? I have 8 chins … or just look uncomfortable.” And it’s crazy that there’s snow on the ground!

    • so totally can relate. and as for the snow I could cry

  • Jodie Filogomo
