Happy Monday. Harper is making another blog appearance. My go-to comfy outfit, Harper Stripes with leopard boots is a standard uniform for this gal.
The boys arrived late Thursday night (hence the lovely van and trailer). Meet Van Wilder, the transportation of the Honest Heart Collective. The boys played Junofest on Friday Night and had an absolutely amazing show. Full house and they were rockin.
I adore having the band around really I do. But.. and there is a big but with 10 males around the house the testosterone is flying. My neat freak tendencies have to be put on hold. Kent does his very best to always ensure that I have a quiet place somewhere but wowser I do get a bit frantic. I like to think I am alays calm and cool but I think I do get a bit frenzied. Just picture 8 males between 23 and 25 descending on your house, just the shoes at the front door is crazy.
I say this but I would not trade it for the world, meal time is true family time. It’s like Sunday dinner every night when they are in town. Summer is the best though because my yard is way bigger than my dining room.
They have started the quick trek ( well long trek) back to Thunder Bay. We will see them soon though as they have two showcases for Canadian Music Week. Kent and I decided to go to Toronto for the whole week. I have a blog conference on the weekend so I get to cover two awesome events, a week of music and a weekend of blogging.
