Eshakti Floral Skirt and a Labour of Fashion

Eshakti georgette skirt and moto jacket

Happy Thursday and before I get into talking about this gorgeous skirt I received from Eshakti and even before we have a Labour of Fashion Link Up I have a secret.  It’s a very special ladies Birthday today.  Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood is celebrating her birthday today.  Hop over and give her a birthday wish ( plus she has a linkup), Ada is also hosting a celebration of dresses from a few fellow bloggers

EShakti

I am in love, there I said it, in love with a skirt.  Is this not an amazing awesome skirt. I was contacted by Eshakti just before I went to CMW.  EShakti is number one in women’s fashion clothing in the USA for Custom-Clothes. This company will make you an item of clothing sized for you…. yep for you. They also have standard sizing available.

I love it, dressed up with Sandals and a lace sweater and I can see this taking me to many an afternoon social, change to flats and it becomes work appropriate, wear it with bare feet ( or maybe some cute sandals) and a tank and I am summer casual.

The Skirt

A high-low hem styles this lovely flared floral print georgette skirt with a high vent at the side front for a flirty show of leg.
    • Back metal zip closure.
    • Side seam pockets.
    • Above the ankle length dips to full length with 3″ heels on at back.
    • Lined in polyester moss crepe.
    • Polyester, woven georgette, digital print, sheer, no stretch, lightweight.
    • Machine wash cold.

I know right, pockets. I personally believe that every dress and skirt should have pockets. They are a necessity for every woman. The company even with standard sizing, asks your height for any necessary adjustments, and you also have the option to change sleeves, length and necklines. ( and if you are really silly you can have the pockets removed, why I have no idea but if you are not a pocket fan they will remove them for you.

Sizing

Size wise I went with the 8 because I was a tad paranoid ( normally I am a six or eight at J Crew and BR, Old Navy… you name it, a standard six.if you are looking for a size comparison)

Wow that was hard to say, and before you all pshaw me and shake your head, I grew up as a zero/double zero ( with a few eating issues which is a story for another day) It is a shining accomplishment for me to actually even put those numbers out there and not run crying to bathroom.
I know digressing again, that is becoming a mainstay of my  blogposts so back to this story, EShakti, an amazing company that has a solid fan in this girl.

Additions

I am now drooling over the Wine Cooler skirt, thinking it would be perfect for our wine tours.  Too cute or on point, what’s your thought.

Today

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I am loving the feel of this skirt.  Today I paired it with a lace tank and a moto jaclet. Threw on a pair of tie shoes from Shoe Dazzle and I was office ready

You look awesome in that skirt. Regarding the wine glasses skirt, get it. I have bought a lot of clothes from eShakti over the years and they were all great. Their price-performance ratio is also very good. Just buy it. You will look great in that skirt and it is so you as it is fun.

It’s interesting how we have so many issues about size and weight from our past, huh?
But no matter what size that skirt says—it looks fabulous on you, Linda!!

  • Such a pretty skirt, Linda! I really like it paired with your moto jacket. So cute that your lace up shoes are actually heels – I have only seen flats like this.
