The forecast in Ottawa has been rain, rain and even more rain. So much rain that there is flooding all over the place. The band arrives for the weekend and we have moved all the lawn furniture into the garage turning it into an informal club scene. So imagine me glee when I woke up this morning to the sun streaming in through the window. Forecast was rain for the afternoon but in this moment a summery Floral Dress was screaming my name.
Forgive the lighting issues but my new canon has never seen the sun. It’s true I picked up a new Canon Rebel before I went to CMW and it seriously has been raining since then. OK there were a few sunny days but that was when I was bedridden and did not see the light of day. Never mind, sun glare and wind make for fun pictures right.
Bonus note here folks, look I almost have my Linda smile back. The jaw is moving better and the swelling is almost all gone. Still hurts like heck if I yack too much during the day but I believe I am on the road to recovery.
All that worry that my smile/look would be affected and I look at these pictures and realize it was needless fear.
I found this sundress at H& M and I fell in love with it. Flowy, floral and it falls so nicely. I also found this moto at Forever 21 in the clearance section for 10.00, how crazy is that. Paired today with a pair of striped pumps from Shoe Dazzle for office wear and Converse for the commute. I am so very ready for summer ( now to get some color on those legs.
The lighting really is bad for these pictures but honestly the sun is shining and I need to embrace that fact. I am in summer wear, have heels on and I am smiling so let’s embrace the uniqueness today.
