Loving Life after 50

One of those Days

Ever have one of those crazy fog days? Today was that for me, sad news started off the day and for some reason my head just could not get in the game.  I could not believe when I got home from work that I had cut my head off in half my pictures.  Seriously how does that happen. An outfit that made me happy, a pretty new bracelet and only five good pictures, three OK and four disappearing head shots.

Its one of those totally darn it days were I ask should i even share? Well I really did love the outfit and the bracelet so I salvaged what I could. And then to really cap it all off I kept my hands in my pocket. How in heck did this all even come together I ask. A total comedy of errors post.

Blogging Woes

The downside of blogging ( as if there ever could be a downside right) is life never cooperates when you need to get something done.  The crazy life I have been leading somehow lead me to chopping my head off in my pictures and the bracelet closeup being totally a blur.  Hmmm what did I do to piss off the blog gods this week. How am I supposed to show off my fabulous Joseph Nogucci bracelet, and yes I did wear it honest, its just hard getting arm candy closeups, I guess I need to start using Kent a lot more.

I promise you I will be wearing this beauty a lot so keep checking the blog for awesome style pictures. Indoor pictures just never seem to do jewellery justice so additional pictures at 10:00 just wasn’t happening. Creating another outdoor opportunity where my neighbours think I am crazy… really snapping yourself outside is bad enough, snapping pictures of Jewellery outside, well that is just this side of crazy right.

Joseph Nogucci

My bracelet is one of the Sacred Stone bracelets. It is hand-crafted from 8mm semi-precious and artisanal stone beads and then hand-strung on an elastic cord. The bracelet is accented with a crystal encrusted shamballa and a gleaming gold finished Laurelian steel cross charm and signature Joseph Nogucci tag. Isn’t is beautiful?

Sadly the closest I seem to get to a picture today was one where I apparently had something really bad in my eye. Luckily my link up seems to be working so something is going ok.

A Labour of Life

  • I have plenty of those fog days. I’m from Essex! I didn’t realise you had left Bloglovin Linda. Found you again! Great outfit, lovin the shoes! xx

  • Nicole Mölders

Great look. The version with the pumps is my favorite.

  • You look super cute even without the cooperation of the blogging gods! Those pumps are fabulous and I am loving the gingham top.

  • How adorable are you, Linda!!! Especially with all those photo “mishaps” although I seem them as being the cutest outtakes ever!!! And may I be totally in love with your heels? xoxo

  • Jodie Filogomo

This reminds me of the time when the Pinterest outfit photos were mostly with heads cut off!! I like that idea because then I don’t have to worry about my hair and makeup—ha ha!!
But you look fabulous, Linda—head or no head!

  • Debbie Stinedurf

It’s a great outfit…even headless. I particularly love the top. I’ve been having a rough streak in the picture taking arena too. The last 4 outfits I shot the pictures (pretty much all of them) were crap. Out of the 4 only 1 had enough okay photos that I could use. So irritating, but so irrelevant in the big picture of life I suppose. 🙂

  • Love your top and striped heels! So pretty!

  • Love those shoes and all of the blue hues on you Linda! Pretty bracelet! I know what you mean , I have a tough time in the summer as darn it gets hot her in NC… hair and makeup are not fun then!
    jess xx

  • LauriePOP

Love the tennies! That length of a skirt looks great on you! LauriePOP Ideas That POP

  • Laura

Love your shades of blue and print mixing!

I think we could say that we’ve all been there as fashion bloggers taking pictures and I know the pain. I love this outfit though and you look great!
