There’s nothing quite like getting out into the fresh air and exploring our beautiful world. While travel may be restricted at the moment due to Coronavirus, there’s nothing wrong with planning out your next nature adventure.
Regardless of where the travel may be, it is time to explore. Whether it’s local to you or somewhere you’d like to travel to once it’s safe again lets try something new. Not sure where to explore next? Take a look at these breathtaking places to visit for nature lovers.
Too many months locked down has me exploring the world and new places I want to try, or re-visit.
Malvern Hills, England
Situated in the Midlands of England, Malvern has been named an outstanding area of beauty thanks to the breathtaking Malvern hills. The small town is surrounded by hills, separating them from the next county over – Herefordshire.
Tourists travel from afar to see and walk along the Malvern Hills but don’t be fooled, it’s not for the light hearted! While their elevation is only 425 metres, they stretch over 6 hills that will challenge you every step of the way.
However, once you reach the Malvern Beacon hill, you’ll be able to see across both counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire (the county Malvern is a part of) and the views are phenomenal.
Maleny, Queensland
Maleny is next up on the list, and quite rightly so! Packed to the brim with waterfalls, national parks, and even a zoo, you’ll never be stuck wondering what to do in Maleny while you’re out exploring nature.
For those that love the idea of seeing wildlife you wouldn’t usually see at home, Maleny certainly won’t disappoint. From Koala bears to tigers and crocodiles, you’ll get to be at one with nature here.

Croatia
If you’re a lover of waterfalls and lakes, then Croatia is most definitely a place to add to your list. Lake Plitvice is a National Park, and is Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction. It was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979, and the Lakes of Plitvice is a series of sixteen lakes that are all interconnected through waterfalls.
This is another brilliant place to visit if you love to see new wildlife, as you have the chance of spotting deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species as you explore the National Park.

Switzerland
Looking for something that’s both breathtaking and challenging at the same time? Well you need look no further than the infamous Swiss Alps. I spent time there when I was in high school and what I wouldn’t give to get back there. Thinking my experience would be so different and I would appreciate it so much more now.
A trip to the Alps to experience the shard-looking mountain piercing the skies, with vast beautiful scenery nestled around it is something everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. This is one place you definitely need to bring your camera to.
Iceland
Finally, if you’re looking for an experience that’s like no other in this world, then a visit to Iceland is something you should consider.
Aside from the natural beauty of the place, which shouldn’t be missed during your trip, you may also get the chance to see and experience the natural wonder of the Northern Lights. They’re not always visible, so be sure to check before your trip so that you get a chance to see this incredible wonder of the world.
I have seen the lights from the Territories but something about heading to Iceland to see them, wow.
