Happy Almost Easter Everyone, good golly, Easter is in one week and I have yet to share an Easter Table. How fun is An Easter Tablescape? Last year I went with a golden hue, this year we are going traditional Carrots, yep a Carrot Table to celebrate the Easter Bunny.
Something about Spring (and retirement) is helping me get my mojo back. The weather is warming up, the sun is shining except when it is raining lol. Easter is an inherently cheerful time of year. Pastel colors seem to be everywhere, flowers are in full bloom, After the long winter months, especially this winter Easter is really a breath of fresh air. I am so anxious to put winter away and embrace the new seasons.

My Carrot Easter Table
Easter and Spring such a great excuse to fill your house with pastels, I found this beautiful tablecloth at Homesense a few years ago ( but also now available on Amazon). It is a classic and usually makes an appearance each season. Pastels are my Neutrals for every season.
Today I thought we could all use a bit of “hoppiness” to brighten our spirits and create a fun Easter scape. A pale yellow or golden background, A Rae Dunn Bunny and Carrot set paired with a cute and unique place setting. Bunnies, Eggs and even a few carrots thrown in for good measure. Creating the perfect Carrot Easter Table.
Orange you Glad I am Ready For Easter
Today’s Carrot Easter tablescape is not surprising, pastels, bunnies and eggs. I mean can it be Easter without all of those? Over the years I have collected a few fun Bunnies and created many a table. 2023, I again opted to stick with white plates but with orange chargers. I mean hello Carrots right?
I happened to find a few fun Carrots as well as fun carrot pics at Michael’s last year. Adding them to my antique bud vases seemed a perfect addition . Pastel mixed with a traditional carrot orange makes the table pop. Wine bottle candles and a set of traditional candleholders and white candles.
The Creation of a Easter Table with Carrots
Normally my table planning starts with a tablecloth I want to use but not this time. I was inspired by the Rae Dunn Carrots. They seemed to scream feature me please. Each year I do try and find a new colour or pattern that will inspire me. For 2023 the Orange seemed the perfect direction, but the bunny was a tad jealous so the yellow came out again. . Next up selecting a charger and then the plate setting.
Sticking to a carrot theme I dug out my orange chargers and then added plates. I also dug out the orange napkins, traditionally used for Thanksgiving and gave them a twist. Yep a twist into a carrot cone for a fun accent.
Life’s irony is at play, this year we are heading to New Brunswick for the Easter weekend. You know what that means, I am leaving a pretty Carrot Easter table set for the house sitter lol.
Another fun accent for me, knife rests. Today I used some a my fun mini carrots. Knife rests can come from anywhere and I love to shop my stash.
Carrots and Accessories
My napkin fold was an adaptation of my elf hat fold from a few years ago, in a traditional orange.
I did add my yellow bunny Butter dish and fun egg shaped salt and pepper shakers. And my table was ready for Easter dinner, or just to admire.
Tis true even if I will not be home I always set the table for a holiday (plus it keeps the dining room tidy and pretty).
Do you decorate for Easter? Set a fun table? Leave me a link to your table in the comments I would love to check it out.
