Life is what you make it, not only have I heard that all my life, I believe it, I feel it, I live it. In my naive youth I use to think the perfect moment would happen if  everything was PERFECT and that scene in the movie was the only right way something could happen, or the Harlequin romance ending needed to happen or it wasn’t real/perfect. As I grew older I realize life is really what you make it, you can continue living with the But’s or what if’s or maybe’s or you could embrace truly what was happening and how you were feeling.  This became my motto.
Every moment has the potential to be perfect as long as you live who you are with and love what you are doing,  it does not mean you need to settle it just means you need to embrace your life and all that it holds dear to you.

Monday, Thanksgiving Monday in Canada, Kent and I went for a walk to see the leaves, enjoy the air and just be together, Petrie Island is about ten minutes from the house yet we rarely ever go,  a beautiful beach in the summer and glorious nature trails the rest of the year. So an outfit post with a twist.. a bit of nature, a bit of ma and a bit of us.
When we atarted out the sun was shining and the sky was blue, the clouds did roll in but the temperatures stayed perfect.  Little bits of nature always make one feel in peace with the world.
Wearing my Old Navy Frost Free Vest, J Crew Skinny Cargo pants ( last year) and a Gap T Shirt,  Boots from George and scarf from Forever 21. I do occasional dress for casual events

Sitting on the bench watching the river flow by

Signs warning about a steep drop off were not kidding, we were mesmerized by the drop.
The beauty nature can always bring a smile to my face.

Kent is wearing a Fleece and  from Nautica, boots from Spring

We left Petrie Island and took a drive to Orleans Apple Orchard to check out the Pumpkins.

Omg those pumpkins are so adorable. (I wish we could go pumpkin picking here in Germany)
That is def the right spirit and attitude. Create your own happy story, instead of waiting for something perfect to happen…
    loved it.
