Easter is just days away and it is time to get hopping on my menu, AKA Easter Cocktails anyone? . Woohoo time to break out the Bailey’s Easter Milkshake. Yes you heard that right, a milkshake made with Baileys, in a Chocolate Egg, Does that meet your Eggspectations for fun cocktails? .
Do you have fun seasonal cocktails? or rather do you enjoy creating seasonal cocktails? I sure do, especially when they involve Chocolate and Baileys.
Bailey’s Easter Milkshake
This Bailey’s Easter Milkshake is actually served in a chocolate egg, how awesome is that. Plus you can add as many deliciious toppings as you want, sprinkles, mini eggs, even raspberry’s if ya want a healthier version lol. Ready to enjoy in 5 minutes or less! Simple and easy and something just for us.
I know what you are thinking Easter is for the children but I am here to prove you wrong. Easter is for all ages. We may not want the Easter Egg hunt, but after all the decorating and cooking we all need a little cocktail break right?
Ingredient List for our Milkshake
Making this Bailey’s Easter Milkshake is truly easier than hiding all of your kid’s Easter eggs the night before the big day! To make this shake recipe you’ll need:
- 100ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
- 2 hollow Easter eggs (around 100g each)
- 6 scoops vanilla ice cream (360ml)
- 100ml double cream (whipped)
- 20ml chocolate sauce
- Toasted chopped hazelnuts and chocolate flakes to garnish
- Extra toppings – mini eggs, mint leaves, raspberries or a macaroon

Directions for our Shake
Lets follow three simple steps to the perfect Bailey’s Easter Milkshake.
- Carefully crack off the tips of the Easter eggs. Consume any stray chocolate shards – no-one’s looking. or save them for an additional topping, can you ever have too much chocolate?
- Blend the Baileys with the ice cream. Then pour it into the chocolate eggs.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, chopped nuts, mini eggs and chocolate sprinkles. There you have it – a simply eggcellent Easter treat!
