Cinnamon is the super food/spice of the year, at least according to my social media feeds. I cannot sign in without seeing a post or ad about adding cinnamon to my fruit. So I guess this is a perfect time to share my Baked Cinnamon Apples. The perfect dessert heading into Fall.
My baked apples don’t look the same as my Mom’s but they sure do taste as fine. Mom liked the traditional, an apple with the core removed stuffed with cinnamon and sugar (YUM). Mine is a bit more like a crisp but still tasty.
Baked Apple Time
One of the best things about this recipe, other than the flavour is the time. Simple and easy and only a Prep time of (ten) 10 minutes. And then throw in the oven for baking for 25-30 minutes.
This recipe should serve 4 easily or if you are like me, 2 generous portions and enough for two snack left overs lol. I mean dessert left overs are the best, almost as good as Pizza the next day.
