green velvet moto from f21

Last Updated on 2020-10-25 by Linda

This Green Velvet Moto Jacket did not deserve a “face of stone” did it?  Well another life lesson or should I say blog lesson for Linda. Be true to you always.  I am not sure what possessed me but approximately every year or so I try to change me.

Browsing through pictures of bloggers I love and then I try to change my facial expression. I start believing everyone wants to see stone face.  And then I ruin a perfect outfit with stone face.

Happy Smiley Face

I like to smile. Like to try on pretty clothes. And I like being happy. So why in heck do I look at your serious pictures and think I need to copy you? Darn peer pressure.  I saw an Instagram Bio today, Mariesbazaar.

What I did not realize, she is like me,  Her Bio is  “I like to smile & wear cute clothes “. Well guess what, me too.I like to smile and this is me so why do I try and get all sour face? Darn it Linda, be you, be true. so no more sad face even though I think I may have said that before.

So look at the picture above and the one below, which do you think is better? or rather more me? I can honestly say smiling is more on point. Plus who wouldn’t be smiling with this moto and the dress right?

Green Velvet Moto Jacket

Last year, I walked in to Forever 21 in Atlanta and I saw this jacket, for $12.00.  I was like the lady in the IKEA commercial… “Start the Car”  I mean really look at this beauty, green, velvet and Moto. What is not to love? Throw it over a fun embroidered dress I found at Target ( also 11.00) and I am in new outfit love. And to make life complete a tassel necklace that my Nana use to wear and Oxford booties from GH Bass

Pouty Face no more

Honestly look at this sour puss face….

Real Me

This is real and this is me, happy smiling and just having fun with life.

OMG! I love, love, love this outfit! That green velvet moto jacket is stunning. And the embroidered dress, so pretty. Well done!

And I totally agree, each of us should be who we are and not find it necessary to emulate others.

Such a cute embroidered dress and I love the velvet moto – I’ve seen a lot of velvet jackets but never a moto before, it’s awesome! 🙂 I think we should do what makes us happy in photos! 🙂

Hope that your week is going well and you have a fun weekend ahead of you 🙂

Linda, you crack me up! I have tried serious and pouty faces before and I just can’t do it either. I start laughing or I just look ridiculous! Every once in a very great while, my husband will catch a serious face on me where I don’t look like a complete idiot! But I agree with you, just keep smiling and laughing, that is who we are! Now onto your outfit! Green velvet moto jacket! Yes, please! It would be perfect with my black watch plaid slip dress today. Hehe. And how cute is that embroidered dress. I want this outfit!
