The Black Devil Martini is perfect for the sophisticated palette.Your choice shaken or stirred but I am sure even Bond would like the rum addition.

In honour of this October and soon to be All Hallow’s Eve I thought I would share some special cocktails, Halloween such a fun time of year. Offering opportunity to create creepy foods, spooky drinks and witchy crafts.Sometimes the drinks are of our own concoction and sometimes we are inspired by Pinterest. Today I am sharing a fun Martini,

Black Devil Martini

This one first caught my eye because of the orange sugar rim.  I am all about rimming my drinks. Seriously Pumpkin Ales are elevated to a new level with the rimming that takes place right?  So an orange sugar rim, who wouldn’t love that. The original recipe just called for Dark Rum but I opted to sub in spiced rum for an interesting twist.
Truly the devil is in the detail and a little spice is what this called for.

Ingredients for the Martini

It is a pretty basic drink, only requiring a few ingredients and then some photoshop magic. Truth be told, there is no flame in this drink I just figured it would be cool to show the fires of hell in the picture.

Like this one?  I have created a post featuring 10 awesome Halloween Cocktails that I think you will love.
