In honour of this being October and All Hallow’s Eve coming up quick I thought I would share some special Halloween Cocktails. Halloween is such a fun time of year. Offering opportunity to create creepy foods, spooky drinks and witchy crafts.Sometimes the drinks are of our own concoction and sometimes we are inspired by Pinterest. Today I am sharing a fun Vampire Cocktail. The Blood Sucker is perfect for the sophisticated palette.

Blood Sucker Ingredients you will Need
This is a simple cocktail but it does require a little bit of patience. Creating the blood look requires a small bit of skill and a steady hand. Plus no stirring, that’s the part that kills me.
- 1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Rum
- 1/2 oz. Cointreau
- 2 oz. pineapple juice
- 1 Tbs. strawberry or raspberry puree
How To Make This Halloween Cocktail
- Pour rum, Cointreau and juice into a shaker with ice.
- Shake mixture, then pour into a fun cocktail glass.
- Dip the end of a drinking straw into the berry puree, hold the tip of your finger over the other end and use the straw to squirt puree into the bottom half-inch of the drink, where it will sink in red blobs.
- Do not stir.
- Start sipping and enjoy

Can I use other Alcohol?
Personally I love to try spiced rum, because I am partial to a little spice. recently I have been sampling the New Captain Morgan Orange Vanilla Twist. That is a limited addition liquor but I have saved a bottle for Halloween.
