Happy beginning of the week folks, sorry I have been a tad bit distracted but it was vacation week or rather vacation 10 days. With the Bluesfest happening and company coming Kent and I took time of work. Now it is time to suck it up and return to normal. Today I thought you might enjoy a bit more of Bluesfest Fashions and Rise Against.
Bluesfest Fashion
Let’s start with the fun fashion looks first. Sunday was the final day of Bluesfest andit was a tad bit warm. I thought I should wear the fun distressed denim overalls or dungarees if you prefer that I found in Vancouver. I mean yes I did wear them with tights in early spring but I think it was made for Festival Fashions don’t you? These are still available at H&M and they are so fun, embrace the fun folks, don’t think age think likes always.
Pairing the dungarees with a Bluesfest Tank and my zipper converse seemed natural. The hat was a necessity due to the heat but it is also a cool accessory. Plus festivals and braids go together so I has to add my extensions.
Bluesfest and Rise Against
So lets talk Bluesfest, I mean I have mentioned it a time or two I know but today I have a fun story. I love following social media and entering all of the contests. Bluesfest is notorious for offering chances to meet the artists and I am not sure many people actually enter. Well that works for me, I won twice this year. The first time was Machine Gun Kelly and I turned it down but this time Rise Against, so yep.
I have been a fan of Rise Against for years and although I have seen them live I had not meet them. I have autographed CD’s but never actually had a chance to say hi. Nic and I joined in and got a chance to say hello and get a picture. Fan girling slightly I was.
So yea or nay, would you go meet a band you loved? Would you be to shy and reserved or would you embrace the opportunity?

Love this look. My daughter has been rocking her overall dress lately. Sadly my overalls don’t fit me right now 🙁

Okay, I am not usually a fan of overalls, but these are GREAT! And they look great on you as well. I’ve never met a distressed denim article of clothing that I didn’t like, but you are rocking these! Love the entire outfit!
