Happy Easter Everyone, good gosh today is Easter Monday and time to share my final Easter Table. As I indicated yesterday, I have been slack on sharing but not on creating, this is table number one but posting after two. Go figure, I never ever said I was a straight forward thinker. How fun is using Bunny Ears to create an Easter Tablescape?. This one, is so fun, I reused my St Patrick Cloth and Napkins but incorporated Bunny Ears and Checks.
Something about Spring helping me get my mojo back. The weather is warming up, the sun is shining except when it is raining lol. The Easter Bunny has come and gone but the ham still remains. . Easter is an inherently cheerful time of year. Pastel colors seem to be everywhere, flowers are in full bloom, After the long winter months, especially this winter Easter is really a breath of fresh air.

Easter Table in Check
Easter and Spring such a great excuse to fill your house with pastels, I found this beautiful tablecloth on Amazon while searching for St Patrick’s Day Decor. I didn’t have the heart to pack it away right away but thought hey green and Easter go together. It is not my normal pastel landscape but it really works.
Today I thought we could all use a bit of “hoppiness” to brighten our spirits and create a fun Easter scape. A green check background, a sea of bunnies and a cute and unique place setting. Bunnies, Eggs and even a few carrots thrown in for good measure.
Some Bunnies Ready For Easter
Today’s tablescape is not surprising, pastels, bunnies and eggs. I mean can it be Easter without all of those? Over the years I have collected a few fun Bunnies and created many a table. 2021 I opted to stick with white plates and chargers but add a set of bunny ears to everyone’s plate. How stinkin cute do the plates look with bunny ears?
I happened to find a few fun Carrot pics at Michael’s this year. The one week we were not in lockdown so I could hit a store. Adding them to my antique bud vases seemed a perfect addition . Pastel mixed with a traditional carrot orange makes the table pop. Wine bottle candles and a set of traditional candleholders and white candles.
The Creation of a Bunny Ear Easter Table
I have said it before but yes, my tables always start with a fun tablecloth. Except maybe this time, I was inspired by the Bunny Ears lol. Each year I do try and find a new colour or pattern that will inspire me. For 2021 I kept the check cloth from Amazon. Next up selecting a charger and then the plate setting.
Sticking with an green and white theme I dug out my white chargers and then added a a salad plate and small bowl. My ears had the perfect resting place between the bowl and salad plate. I picked out four different colours of ears and figured they would be the equivalent of birthday hats or New Years Eve crown’s. Something for each of us to wear at dinner. Then the lockdown happened so I switched tables. This will be used again next year with company I hope.
Another fun accent for me, knife rests. Today I used some fun carrots I had in my Easter Inventory. I have been known to use wine corks, mini toys, anything that provides a surface to rest the knife on. I thought the carrots were a fun choice this year.
Bunny Ears and Accessories
My napkin fold actually non existent for this table. Major oopsie on my part. Got so excited about bunny ears I forgot napkins and completing the name cards. Adding in Wine glasses and chocolate bunnies seemed to complete the table perfectly. Cute egg cups with room for soft boiled eggs or in my case fake eggs I planned to use as place cards ( picture names etched on each)
I did add my mini Butter dishes and total forgot my salt and pepper shakers OOPs. My covid brain really set in, how does one forget salt and pepper when you have a large collection. No matter we managed with a last minute addition for the actual dinner. (I should add we had dinner on Saturday so we could have an outdoor visit with the kids and take them left overs)
Did you get fancy this year? Able to celebrate with family or on your own/ Share your Easter so I can live vicariously through you this year please.
