Oh my Bunny Hop it is a week away from Easter and I have not even shared a table setting yet. I am sure it will not surprise you the table has been set since March 18th but I totally forgot to share. 2017 is a year for bunnies and pastels. How Easter-apro right? A Bunny Easter Table for 2017
Easter Table with Bunny
Nana’s salt and pepper shakers are a cornerstone of my table settings. It is funny growing up I never expected to achieve the fascination she did with “S&P” shakers but I did. My collection almost rivals her’s at it’s peak. This little cuties were a gift from my Nana before she passed. She was starting to hand over her treasures so that we would appreciate and enjoy them while she was still around.
Remembering Nana
It’s been a year now and I miss her terribly but every time I set my dining room I remember. Truth be told I remember her more then just at those moments. The Dining Room set belonged to my grandparents and I was lucky enough to be the recipient. Its funny two years ago I thought, hmmm maybe when Nana is no longer here I will get rid of this set and go for a modern look. As a result of Nana’s passing last year I do not want to part with the table, is that weird? I know it is not supposed to be things we hold on to, it is the memories but the memories around this table…. well you can imagine. So for now my tables will be dedicated to Nana and all of the family celebrations we all had together.
Last year’s table setting looked similar, I mean really same cloth but I have picked up a few new pieces. Plus, I just realized I forgot to put out my new bunny butter dish so that’s an excuse for a whole new tablescape.
Pink Chargers
My addiction to chargers has not lessened. Aren’t these pink chargers beautiful? Only issue I could only get three, darn it.(update for 2018 back in stock so I got three more) I have searched every Micheal’s in Ottawa and there were only three left. If you have a Micheal’s and they have a pink Charger please pick it up for me. Please and thank you.
Bunny Theme
Bit of a Rabbit Theme this year, goes well with the bunny fold napkins I showed you last year. I am going to create a Youtube video to walk you through so stay tuned. I also found these lovely cup and saucers intended to make cupcakes in. The cups are the perfect accent to the table filled with candy or eggs. There is a new store in Ottawa the Tokyo Dollar Store and I found these rose dipping bowls. I just had to pick them up for a talescape.
Hoppy Easter and let’s see what your table looks like for 2017

Your cups are also adorable! The chargers are interesting. I didn’t even know Michael’s carried those. Must look closer next time I am in.

Michaels has the best chargers, I find other stores carry boring but michaels always have the unique and fun ones. Every season they get new stock
