Good Morning Folks, I hope you had an awesome Christmas with your families and if you are back to blog surfing I hope that means you are still taking some fun time for yourself. For me, as you are reading this I am driving to Nashville, that’s right folks driving. Stopping in Cleveland for the night and then on to Music City cuz we have tickets to see the Aggies play the Cardinals at the Music City Bowl, then maybe a fun New years Eve Celebration and some touring of the city. Anyone in Nashville looking for a blogger get together??? Text, me, call me, post a comment here i promise I will be checking because my trusty Ipad, Iphone and computer will all be with me.
I did get a little proactive during the week before the holidays and prepared what I hope you think are some fun holiday posts to keep you in the Christmas Spirit.
Today I am offering a tour of Cassidyville, a special little town/village I spend a lot of time in every year around the holidays. OK I know it seems like a fake little village to many but to me it is a special place that I have created.
I have been collecting little Christmas Village Buildings and attractions for a few many years, I started out with a collection from Zellers and as Zellers came out with even prettier buildings I started trading in the old for the new, the Zellers abandoned me ( just like Target insert crying emojii).
Thankfully Michaels and Canadian Tire both carry the Lemax Line so I was able to carry on my tradition. I try to purchase a new piece each year, but as the collection grew and space became limited i sometimes look at people/trees/vehicles etc to accent my village.
2014 I found Hawk cabin ( and as our best bud who has been living with us goes by Hawk, well I had to add that building right) for 2015 I found the firepit and boys roasting hot-dogs, which is what my guys spend the summer evening doing so let’s winterize their activity. Each place usually has special meaning, the bagel shop was purchased when Ryan came into my life, he was our bagel boy for so many years. Beside the bagel shop is the Winery, no surprise that is in my village right? I found a Hockey rink for Carly and an Ice Cream Shoppe for Nic.
This is my little town, one I hope continues to grow. Canadian Tire this year almost killed me, their selection was so crazy in line with what I want, I limited myself to the firepit but I am telling you I know have a new list of MUSTHAVES. ( so If Canadian Tire or Lemax are ever looking for a Village Amdassador, here I am)
and one year our friend who is an awesome photographer took a few shots at the open house.
