Gobble, gobble… but make it fancy! 🦃🍂

You know I can’t set a Thanksgiving table without getting a little creative with my napkins! 😂

And this little turkey might just be my favourite dinner guest!

All you need:
🦃 Two napkins — one for the body and one for those fabulous tail feathers!
🦃 A little piece of tinfoil
🦃 A few folds and a little patience!

And voilà! A turkey that’s almost too cute to unfold! 😂

The perfect finishing touch to my Thanksgiving tablescape, and proof that sometimes the smallest details make the biggest impression. 🍁

🍂 SAVE this tutorial for your next Thanksgiving table and tell me… would you give this little turkey a seat at your table?

The shoe was supposed to fly, the outfit was supposed to change, and I was supposed to look fabulous. 👟✨

Instead, I got 47 failed attempts, a cardio workout and a good laugh at myself. 😂

At this point, the only thing transitioning is my patience. 🤣

Please tell me I’m not the only one who makes these trends look WAY harder than they should be! 👇

And for the record I still haven’t done it but hey check out the cover for the outfit I eventually wore. Loved the outfit not the transition lol

My Favourite Amazon Christmas Finds — That I Actually Own & Use 🎄”
These are some of my favourite Christmas Amazon finds that I actually own, use and would buy again — because apparently my holiday decorating philosophy is more lights, more remotes and always have a cocktail ready. 😂🥂

From the remote controls that keep me from crawling behind Christmas trees, to my triple crockpot and warming tray for entertaining, washable Christmas rugs, my wine chiller mould, cocktail tree and those little clip-on candles I LOVE… these have all earned their spot in my Christmas chaos. 🎅🏻✨

And yes… Govee lights. Obviously. 😂

🎄 Swipe through to see my favourites
❤️ SAVE this for your Christmas shopping
🔗 I’ve linked my finds in my Amazon storefront/link in bio

Which one are you adding to your Christmas list?

#AmazonFinds #AmazonCanada #ChristmasFinds #ChristmasDecor #HolidayEntertaining

1. Remote Control Plugs
“Christmas magic at the push of a button 🎄 No crawling behind the tree required!”

2. Heating/Warming Tray
“My holiday hosting secret 🎅🏻 Keeps everything warm while I actually enjoy my guests!”

3.Christmas Tree Candles 🎄🕯️
“Little Christmas trees that glow at the touch of a remote ✨ I love these scattered through my holiday tables and décor!”

4. Triple Crockpot Set
“Holiday entertaining MVP 🙌 Three dishes. Three temperatures. One very happy hostess.”

5. Washable Christmas Rugs
“Christmas rugs + washable = YES 🎄 Cute, festive and practical enough for real life.”

6. Christmas Cocktail Tree
“Did I need a Christmas cocktail tree? No. Did I need a Christmas cocktail tree? ABSOLUTELY. 🥂🎄😂”

7. Wine Chiller/Ice Bucket Mould
“One of my favourite entertaining finds! ❄️🍾 Freeze it with fruit, flowers or Christmas decorations for every season.”

8. Remote-Control Tree Candles — close-up
“These deserve another look! 😍 The little candle glow makes the tree feel extra magical.”

9. Govee Lights
“Govee lights. Obviously. 😂✨ If you know my house at Christmas, you KNOW.”

Just sliding into Prime Day like… 📦😂

But instead of showing you 847 things Amazon says I need, I’m starting with the things I ALREADY own, use and would actually recommend. 🙌

From my Ninja Slushi and Little Green Machine to Christmas finds, entertaining favourites, Govee lights and those remote-control plugs I seriously don’t know how I lived without. 😂

And yes… apparently Amazon and I are in a fairly committed relationship. 📦📦📦

Now tell me — what are YOU looking for during Prime Day? 👇

I’ll be hunting through the deals!

Prime Big Deal Days start tomorrow 👀

And you know me — I love a good Amazon find, but I’m not buying something just because somebody slapped a SALE sign on it. 😂

I’m watching the things I already use and love, plus a few finds I’ve had my eye on for:

✈️ Travel
👗 Style
💄 Beauty
🏠 Home & entertaining
🎄 And yes… a little early Christmas shopping.

I’ll be sharing the deals I think are ACTUALLY worth looking at over the next two days.

What are you hoping goes on sale?

OK Amazon, this might be one of my favourite entertaining finds yet!

These mini charcuterie boards sit right on top of your wine glass, so everyone gets their own little spread of cheese, meats, fruit and snacks. 🧀🍇

Wine in one hand, charcuterie in the other—except technically it’s ALL in one hand. 😂

Perfect for girls’ night, cocktail hour, holiday parties or anytime you want to make entertaining feel a little extra.

Would you use these? Save this idea for your next gathering!

Started with aqua, added a little pink, folded a turkey napkin… and suddenly Thanksgiving got a whole new colour palette.

Because apparently my table didn’t get the memo that fall is supposed to be orange and brown. 😂

Would you do pink for Thanksgiving or are you staying loyal to traditional fall colours?

Apparently my first fall table of 2026 didn’t get the memo that autumn is supposed to be orange. 😂

Pink tones, candlelight and a little seasonal magic — because fall can absolutely be pretty in pink.

And yes… this is only fall table #1. You know I’m just getting started. 🕯️🍁

A little fold, a little tuck… and suddenly your napkin is ready to steal the spotlight. 🕯️✨

I spotted this candle napkin fold on my last cruise and immediately thought, oh, I’m recreating that at home! 😂

It looks fancy, but I promise it’s easier than it looks—and it’s such a pretty way to dress up a fall table, Thanksgiving dinner or holiday gathering.

Save this one for your next tablescape! 🍂🕯️

Would you try this fold?

Sponsored by VIA Rail 🚆 | The older we get, the more I realize some of the best gifts aren’t things. They’re experiences. ❤️

So for Kent’s birthday, I’m giving him the gift of travel — an Ottawa-to-Montréal getaway aboard VIA Rail.

And this time we’re travelling Business Class, because the journey itself is part of his birthday experience.

There’s something wonderful about settling into your seat and realizing that for the next little while, there’s nowhere else you need to be.

We can watch Canada roll past the window, enjoy a meal, raise a glass to another birthday and simply enjoy being together.

No navigating traffic. No concentrating on the road. No feeling like those hours between home and our destination are simply time to get through.

Instead, they’re part of the experience.

Destination: Montréal.
Occasion: Kent’s birthday.
Gift: More memories together. ❤️🚆🥂

Because sometimes getting there really is part of the gift.

Thinking about your own train getaway? You can book your VIA Rail tickets through the link in my bio. 🚆

POV: You start making Cowboy Crack Soup and halfway through decide the cowboy needs more vegetables. 😂🤠🥣

I had every intention of following the recipe… and then I started improvising.

Out went the spinach and in went sweet corn, carrots and celery. A little of this, a little of that, and somehow we ended up with a creamy, cheesy bowl of comfort that was SO good.

Rotisserie chicken + ranch seasoning + cream cheese + cheddar + mozzarella + heavy cream + veggies… and Pillsbury biscuits because obviously we needed something to soak up all that goodness. 🤤

Is it still Cowboy Crack Soup?
Cowgirl Gone Rogue Soup?
Linda-Couldn’t-Follow-the-Recipe Soup? 😂

Whatever we’re calling it, it’s delicious.

🤠 Rotisserie chicken
🥣 Broth + water
🌿 Ranch seasoning
🧀 Cream cheese, cheddar + mozzarella
🥛 Heavy cream
🌽 Sweet corn
🥕 Carrots
🌱 Celery
🧄 Onion + garlic seasoning
🌶️ Pepper
🥐 Pillsbury biscuits

Full recipe is on the blog + YouTube!

I just found out the Super Bowl is on Valentine’s Day. 🏈❤️

Lucky for me, my guy is a Raiders fan… so there’s absolutely NO chance football will interfere with our Valentine’s plans. 😂💀

Sorry, Kent. I don’t make the schedule. 🤷‍♀️

Sponsored by VIA Rail 🚆 | This year, Kent’s birthday gift wasn’t something I could wrap. 🎁

I gave him the gift of travel. ❤️

We’re celebrating with a getaway from Ottawa to Montréal aboard VIA Rail — and travelling Business Class means the experience begins long before we arrive.

For me, that's one of the things I love most about travelling by train. Instead of simply getting from Point A to Point B, the journey becomes part of the getaway.

It’s settling into our seats, watching the Canadian landscape pass outside the window, enjoying a meal, raising a glass to another trip around the sun and having uninterrupted time together while VIA Rail takes care of getting us there.

No traffic. No navigating. No rushing.

Just time to savour the journey. 🥂🚆

Because travel time doesn't have to be wasted time.

Sometimes getting there is part of the gift.

Happy Birthday, Kent. ❤️ Here’s to another year of places to go, things to see and memories to make together.

Next stop: Montréal! ⚜️

Ready to make the journey part of your next getaway? You can book your VIA Rail tickets through the link in my bio. 🚆

Breast cancer has touched my life far too many tim

Breast cancer has touched my life far too many times through family members and close friends. But losing a dear friend before the age of 40 was especially heartbreaking and reinforced just how important awareness, early detection, and research truly are.

Supporting this cause has always been close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve shared fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and opportunities to give back through my blog and social media, encouraging my community to get involved whenever they can.

Partnering with the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure feels like a natural extension of that commitment. It’s a cause I genuinely believe in, one I’m proud to support, and one I know will resonate with my audience.

That’s why I’m joining the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on October 4

Every registration helps support life-saving breast cancer research and compassionate support programs that help people living with breast cancer and their families.

Whether you choose to run, walk, fundraise or donate, every contribution helps move us forward.

Turns out taking a break from travel taught me something very important…

I’m much better at relaxing when there’s an ocean outside my window, a cruise ship under my feet, and absolutely nowhere I need to be. 😂🛳️

Some people recharge at home.

Me? Apparently I require a balcony, a bathrobe and a boarding pass. ☀️🥂

Retirement was never supposed to mean slowing down… it just means I finally have more time to figure out where I’m going next.

Anyone else get a little twitchy when there’s no trip on the calendar? 😂

I will ALWAYS love a beautiful beach and a tropical cocktail. 🍹🌴

But lately, I’ve been craving something different.

More exploring. More history. More places that make me stop and think, I can’t believe I’m actually here.

That’s why I’ve been looking at trips that feel less like the same vacation on repeat and more like an actual adventure.

And let’s just say… @Wingbuddy has me looking at my suitcase very differently. 👀✈️

Because maybe the cure for vacation fatigue isn’t staying home.

Maybe it’s going somewhere completely different. 🌍

Well… this escalated quickly. 😂✈️

I was just looking.

You know — innocently browsing travel.

Then I spotted a Wingbuddy package to Ireland AND Scotland and suddenly “just looking” turned into “when should we start packing?”

Castles, incredible landscapes, historic cities, the Scottish Highlands, Ireland… basically all the things I’ve been dreaming about seeing in one trip.

And one of my favourite parts? So much of the planning is already taken care of.

Sometimes you see a trip and think, maybe someday.

And sometimes you see one and think…

BOOK IT.

So we did. 😂

Ireland and Scotland, here we come! ✈️

Who’s been? Tell me the ONE thing we absolutely cannot miss.

Because apparently all I need is a little cruise magic and several yards of blue chiffon to go from “do not disturb” to “where’s the champagne?” 🥂😂

And THIS is why I cruise… where else can you wear a dramatic blue chiffon dress on a random evening and nobody even questions it? 💙🛳️✨
