Little late sharing my Christmas Day table but hey better late than never right? Well at least I hope I am right. This year we ended up serving dinner for 11. I love a big crowd but it was a slight challenge on setting the table. Normally when I have more than eight I set two tables but this year I wanted us all together. How to incorporate two settings into one. Challenge maybe, impossible of course not.

Christmas Table
I had originally decided I was using my Nana’s embroidered tablecloth this year for Christmas Dinner. It holds special memories and I had not used it in a while. I had set the table as we were going to be seven and then there was a slight change. A few additions meant that I needed to bring up the extra table. Nana’s cloth was not quite big enough and the only one possibly long enough was brown so I needed to get creative.
I had a lovely gold table cloth that I had used before and it picked up the accents in Nana’s. I went to work creating two separate but together tablescapes.
Basically I gathered everything Red and Gold around the house and went to work creating a fun look. Christmas Trees, Reindeer and sleds were the order of the day.
Napkin Folds
I opted to utilize napkin rings instead of creating a special fold this year. It helped tie in the tables. Plus I used my everyday Christmas plates so everyone would have the same place settings. Luckily I also have 13 place settings for my silverware so we were golden.
Candle Holders.
I opted to use wine bottles for candle holders and luckily my sister had just sent the cutest little sweaters to add to them. Instant Chtistmas.
Tables for the Holidays
Two legged and Four legged Guests
Not only did we have 11 peeps for dinner we were also cat sitting Megane. And had two dogs one just a pup come for dinner. 11 peeps, two cats, one dog and one lab puppy made for a pretty special Christmas Day.
Megane decided to guard the table, actually she may have been looking for food but we are going with guard cat.
Happy Holidays
We had an amazing dinner, great company and even a four legged floor cleaner making the day complete.
