Welcome to the start of another workweek and for my American friends the start of Thanksgiving Week. Thursday you will celebrate Thanksgiving and then let the festivities begin. Christmas will be coming to town.
I spent the weekend continuing my Christmas decorating. A benefit of being Canadian Thanksgiving is in October so as soon as Halloween and Remembrance Day are done the holiday prep can begin.
The pink tree is up, the living room is decked out in pink, gold and white. The table is set in silver and blue and yes even the beds have been Chritmased up. I am a holiday fan or freak depending on how extreme you think I might be.I truly enjoy the season and I love making sure the house is set.
I have been known to change things up but I am consistent in wanting it up early, Christmas starts in November. My tree seems to get pinker each year but that’s OK, The Family Room tree is full out seasonal.
The Blue table is new for 2017. I love changing my table and expect a few transitions this year. Last year was my first pink and gold table. I expect I will also pull out the seasonal plaid and maybe a gold theme, hmmm a new tablesccape each week would be fun. Stay tuned for whatever may come.
Grey Day with Velvet
Outfit was a casual grey look for our Retreat. We had a work retreat and I thought I would stick to a comfy, casual look. Plus another excuse to wear my Gentle Fawn sweater. Doesn’t it pair perfectly with the velvet jeans from Joe Fresh?
