Welcome to 2019, wow that feels weird to type. Ya’ll know I am poolside and most likely we have had a Margarita or two or even three. Just to let you know I still love ya all I decided to share a holiday treat. How about a Cranberry Margarita for the Holiday Season? Sound like a plan? The perfect way to start the 2019 Blog year with a fresh cocktail and a day in the sun.
Festive Cranberry Margaritas
Traditionally, margaritas are considered a warm weather drink, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this delicious and popular cocktail all year long! This holiday-friendly version lends a festive twist with its bright splash of color and a fun, seasonal garnish.
What you need for a Festive Cranberry Margarita
The ingredients are pretty basic:
3 oz. tequila
2 oz. Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
2 oz. cranberry juice

How you Mix a Margarita
1)To make cranberry sprig garnish, carefully thread 3 cranberries onto tough rosemary stems. Set aside.
2)Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, Cointreau, and both juices.

YUM! I don’t drink alcohol any more but this looks delicious! I might try it by switching out the orange liquor for orange juice. PS Your photos look great! I’m stlll learning how to do this. 🙂
