Today we are serving crockpot oatmeal for a delicious hot breakfast. Every so often, OK actually a lot of times, Kent gets creative in the kitchen and decides to try something different. Facebook videos really are his best friend.
Every time I hear Facebook is a dying social media and no one pays attention I laugh. Really it is laughable because not only does it still have the most amount of users, it is the one place I know everyone still scrolls through daily. He discovered this amazing Apple Cinnamon crockpot oatmeal and we had to test it out.
Facebook Recipes and CrockPot Oatmeal
Kent loves his Facebook recipes and videos and I love sampling the results. The overnight Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal was fun to try. It also made the perfect breakfast to take to work and re-heat in the microwave. A hot breakfast that has staying power. Are you a big Facebook recipe fan? Do you search and save as much as we do?
What you Will need for Crockpot Oatmeal
Gather your supplies and ingredients together and let’s get started. You will need
A crockpot or slow cooker and
Kent got everything ready the night before and before bed threw it all together. It literally took only a few minutes and in the morning waking up to the smell of apples and cinnamon was delightful.
Prepping the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
It is a pretty simple recipe to follow
place butter in bottom of pot ( rub some on edges)
peel apples and chop ( we cut into thin slices
add dry ingredients
add water over all ingredients ( do not stir)
cover and let simmer all night
serve hot with maybe a dollop of milk or cream
Enjoy, I really enjoyed this but would recommend adding a small amount of brown sugar and cream for a delicious warm breakfast.

- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 apples peeled
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 2 c oats
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 4 c water
Instructions
