I am a big fan of makeovers, but who knew a Dollar Tree Foam Pumpkin would be the perfect candidate. Thos eugly little orange foam pupkins are a hidden treasure chest of possibilities. And I say orange because here in Canada we are still only getting the orange ones.
Seeking inspiration from around my home, I thought a chunky yarn pumpkin might fit perfectly with my decor this year.
Dollar Tree Foam Pumpkin and Decorating
Dollar Tree Foam Pumpkins are truly the ugly duckling of the fall decor line. Seriously ugly when you se them in the store but oh so spectacular with a little bit of imagniation. Plus at $1.25 (in Canada) so darn affordable. Also the reason you have to grab them quick as they may be ugly but they are the most popular girl at the prom.
A little bit of paint can totally transform the look for sure but yarn is her best friend. It is like finding the perfect foundation or even the best fitting spanx, A little bit of yarn totally transforms the look .I have seen several braided versions but personally i love the look of the chunky wool just as is.
