I originally created this amazing Easter Apothecary Jars when I first started blogging in 2014. The Jars were great the pictures not so much. I thought a some new pictures might help you see how amazing these actually are.
After discovering homemade apothecary jars on Pinterest in November 2013, I have been hooked on the concept. I made a Hot Chocolate Station at Christmas with homemade jars and decided I needed some Easter Apothecary Jars for all the awesome sweet treats.
Easter Apothecary Jar Craft
It is a very simple craft and one that costs very little. I purchased three small jars at the Dollarama. Using three little paper apples from Michael s ( small cupboard door handles would work well) I created a handle on the lid. Plus three wooden candlestick holders from Value Village. Craft paint and some glue and then of course some candy.
Creating the Easter Apothecary Jars
Supplies you will need:
- three small jars at the Dollarama.
- three little paper apples from Michael s ( small cupboard door handles would work well
- three wooden candlestick holders
- Craft paint
- glue
- glue gun
- candy (3 kinds).
How to Make the Easter Apothecary Jars
A simple and easy craft to try.
- Pick an Easter Colour, I went with Blue and painted the candle holders.
- Remove the lids from the jars and paint, you can leave silver but the blue was just so pretty. Paint the apples and let all dry. You may need to add an additional layer of paint for better coverage.
- Once the items are painted to your satisfaction, glue the apple ( or door handles) to the lids. You will then need to glue the jars onto the candle holders.
- Fill each jar with pretty pastel candies.
Once filled, screw on lids and place on counter, you can add ribbon if you choose but I like the simple look.
Hope a little craft post will keep your interest.
