Easter is yet another excuse for me to decorate my table. I am not sure you are aware but I adore tablescapes, so much so that I have a PINTEREST board dedicated to them, have you seen it yet. I will give you a few minutes to hop over a take a look, don’t forget to follow me while you are there. 2016 A Pastel Easter Tablescape
Easter is a time for pastels, and bunnies and eggs, and they all come together so beautifully for a table setting.. I have a collection of tablecloths and napkins and love creating many a table, and hello have you seen my how to for the Bunny Napkins. This year I purchased a new Bunny Butter Dish and four pastel egg cups. They just add a fun piece of novelty. I did not add place cards this time but I did write everyone’s names on the wine glasses with my Wine Writers, they were a big hit.
How about the salt and pepper shakers, my little mice friends are from my Nana’s Salt and Pepper Collection, so every time I see them I think of her. I do not get to see her often, she is 95 and still going strong. ( sad update although when I created this post on Sunday all was well, on Monday March 21, Nana passed away, I will miss her so much)
The Easter Egg Salt and Pepper I found at the Cracker Barrel a few years ago, man that place has great S & P sets every season. My centerpiece/candle holders are an adaptation of the centerpiece I created last year. This time I used two very large wine glasses instead of the three medium. Such an easy setting to create and one that can be adapted to any colour or taste.
I keep the buffet simple, my Mason Jar Vases, a few Bunnies and a colourful runner.
Happy Easter Week
