Of course, as supporters of living my best lifestyle, it can be hard to ignore some of the important information that is circulated with like-minded people.
Summer is on the way, and so exercise tutorials and ‘getting in shape for summer’ guides are to be found almost everywhere. There is absolutely zero issue with this. In fact, getting in shape is one of the best methods of feeling as young as possible, of being as confident as you can, and of keeping your health in check. But it’s not a complete pathway to confidence. What I mean by that is that while getting in shape can get you most of the way there, taking a fully refined look at yourself can help you become the person you want to be at the end of all your efforts. Let me explain:
You can be as in shape as possible, and while this might mean you feel more comfortable in revealing clothes, dressing terribly will impact not only how you look, but how you feel. If you’ve put all that effort into getting in shape, why not wear clothes that look good on you? Simply purchasing fitted and simple clothing can look great, but you might also decide to go for a show stopping item, or perhaps wear something that you feel confident with. For example, an accessory you admire, or perhaps something you might not have worn. When we dress well we tell ourselves we are worth it, and that we have plenty of value to give.
Many ignore dental health. You might not consider how drinking excess coffee or smoking can often stain your teeth over time, until one day in the mirror, and then you feel less than self-assured. But there’s no reason as to why that should hold you back. Hop over to this ZOOM teeth whitening blog post from Dr Karen Davis Dentistry, it can help inform you of how easy a process like this is. Taking care of your teeth is important, because how else can you express your confidence if not with a beaming and warm smile?
Some people feel that because they are able to run a bunch of miles, or lift a heavy weight that they are confident. But actually, the ability itself is that which should give the confidence. It is not the ability to showboat around it. Finding true confidence in your achievements is important. Not caring what others think about them can help you stay continually hungry to better yourself. Working hard to become a great version of yourself. You’ll be more likely to give yourself the credit than need it from other people. That is what makes it all worthwhile.
Take me as a prime example, I always wanted to be a runner. Running seemed the perfect way to get in shape and get confident. Well this body does not run. But I started walking, and that helped me gain confidence and get in great shape. Find the activity that works for you and makes you smile. That will give you self- confidence
With these tips, you’re sure to enjoy your best level of self-confidence.
