Where have the days gone, it’s all of a sudden the 19th and we are counting down for a Christmas Eve Celebration  This Year our plans have changed. We are  not heading tout of town for a Bowl Game.  New Years in Ottawa and I may be opting for gold and sequins or rather a Gilded Birdcage and a Gold skirt. And FYI also the 0utfit I planned to wear to my Christmas Lunch.

Gilded Birdcage and Sequins for Fun

So if ya follow insta than  you know I tried to wear this to my Christmas Lunch. Sadly Kent ended up having a bad stress test and I opted to stay home.  Life interrupted.  I am sure this grogeous skirt and sweater will see another wear soon.

I found this sweater at HM two years ago, Too fun to leave behind. A gilded birdcage with two stunning sequin birds. When I found the skirt at Target I knew it would be the perfect match. I wore this before with a great pair of J Crew Cap toe Pumps but today is a Boot day. Winter has hit the capital.

Buffalo Plaid Coat

Let’s talk coats for a moment shall we.  Went to find a pair of boots on Shoe Dazzle and I stumbled on this baby (similar). Such a great find and far better than I expected.  For the price point I was expecting a lightweight coat but this is actually winter ready.

Is there anything more fun than red in the snow? A statement of a coat wherever I go
