Happy Almost Easter Everyone, good golly, Easter is only two weeks awa and I have yet to share an Easter Table. How fun is using Bunny Ears to create an Easter Tablescape? I first tried a similar theme last year and well, I loved it. This year I went with a more classic palette in simple pastels.
Something about Spring helping me get my mojo back. The weather is warming up, the sun is shining except when it is raining lol. Easter is an inherently cheerful time of year. Pastel colors seem to be everywhere, flowers are in full bloom, After the long winter months, especially this winter Easter is really a breath of fresh air. I am so anxious to put winter away and embrace the new seasons.

My Golden Easter Table
Easter and Spring such a great excuse to fill your house with pastels, I found this beautiful tablecloth at Homesense a few years ago ( but also now available on Amazon). It is a classic and ususally makes an appearance each season. Pastels are my Neutrals for every season.
Today I thought we could all use a bit of “hoppiness” to brighten our spirits and create a fun Easter scape. A pale yellow or golden background, a sea of bunnies and a cute and unique place setting. Bunnies, Eggs and even a few carrots thrown in for good measure. Creating the perfect Golden Easter Table.
Some Bunnies Almost Ready For Easter
Today’s Golden Easter tablescape is not surprising, pastels, bunnies and eggs. I mean can it be Easter without all of those? Over the years I have collected a few fun Bunnies and created many a table. 2022 I again opted to stick with white plates and chargers but added a set of bunny ears to everyone’s plate. How stinkin cute do the plates look with bunny ears?
I happened to find a few fun Carrot as well as fun carrot pics at Michael’s this year. Adding them to my antique bud vases seemed a perfect addition . Pastel mixed with a traditional carrot orange makes the table pop. Wine bottle candles and a set of traditional candleholders and white candles.
The Creation of a Easter Table in Gold
Normally my table planning starts with a tablecloth I want to use but not this time. I was once again inspired by the Bunny Ears. Each year I do try and find a new colour or pattern that will inspire me. For 2022 I really wanted a muted pastel, at least for my first table. . Next up selecting a charger and then the plate setting.
Sticking to a neutral theme I dug out my white chargers and then added a a salad plate and small bowl. My ears had the perfect resting place between the bowl and salad plate. I picked out four different colours of ears and figured they would be the equivalent of birthday hats or New Years Eve crown’s. If you recall last year I wasnt able to have company so I wanted to repeat my table.
Life’s irony is at play, this year we are heading to Lancaster PA for Launch Music Festival on the Easter weekend. You know what that means, I am leaving a pretty Golden Easter table set for the house sitter lol.
Another fun accent for me, knife rests. Today I used some a basic white, I think I was trying to let the ears really shine.
Bunny Ears and Accessories
My napkin fold was a repeat of the bunny fold from a few years ago, in a pretty pastel plaid.
I did add my bunny Butter dish and total forgot my salt and pepper shakers OOPs. My covid brain really set in, how does one forget salt and pepper when you have a large collection. No matter we managed with a last minute addition for the actual dinner.
