Spooky Cocktails for All Hallow’s Eve
Never let it be said that Halloween is just for Kids. This gal is no longer minority age but I may be childlike in my thoughts at times. On a serious note while the kids are trick or treating there is no reason we cannot be imbibing.
What you need for a Rum Cocktail
Ingredients you will need for my rum specialty:
- Orange Hawaiian Punch
- Coconut Rum
- Halloween Sprinkles
- Corn Syrup
- Ice Cubes
Let’s get Shaking and Making
Unlike James Bond I am not a shaken or stirred gal, especially because this is not a martini lol. All kidding aside lets get making shall we.
- Spread corn syrup around the rim of a hurricane glass.
- Using the corn syrup as a glue, roll the sprinkles onto the glass.
- Fill the hurricane glass with ice cubes.
- Pour 1 shot of coconut rum into the hurricane glass.
- Top with orange Hawaiian Punch.
- Cheers!
Can I use other Alcohol?
Personally I love to use rum, but thinking some spiced rum might be a fun twist. Probably because I am partial to a little spice. Recently I have been sampling the New Captain Morgan Orange Vanilla Twist. That is a limited addition liquor but I have saved a bottle for Halloween.
