Shocking fact my Halloween Witch table has been set for weeks yet I have been ever slack in my blog posting. Well not really I have been task driven on the back end and all my Halloween fun has been stockpiled for this week. Stay tuned for Mantles, Bar Carts and many fun activities.
Are you getting ready for All Hallows Eve or do you skip right through to Thanksgiving?

Halloween Decor in 2021
For 2020 I went with a fun Boney Bones Table with the napkins as an accessory. Weirdly I only did one table last year but I did create several mantles and bar carts.. I truly love to search through my home and my little tickle trunk of decorations and create fun tablescapes and mantles.
Fast forward to 2021 and I have been going tablescape crazy. Table number two is a Hocus Pocus Halloween Witch table. Another fun option using an eclectic group of props from my tickle trunk. My dirty little secret, I could not find a new orange or purple tablecloth anywhere, so Dollarama was my friend. I picked up an orange (and purple for later) vinyl tablecloth and covered it with a black lace cover (also 4.00 at Dollarama).
Broomsticks, Caldrons and Hats
Ironically I ordered the Caldrons, broomsticks and witch hats off of Amazon in 2019 but they arrived in November. 2020 happened and I totally forgot I had them, oops. 2021 I have been seeing so many Hocus Pocus posts which inspired this table. A little witchery coming together.
The centerpiece came together naturally. I saw this awesome Witch hat at Michaels and it just worked. The hat just seemed to anchor the table and pull it all together. Hoping it is not too cutesy but it is working for me;
Halloween Witch Table and Place Setting
Orange, black and purple was my Halloween colour scheme again for 2021. Starting with my Orange Chargers, they seemed to set the perfect stage. I then opted to use my black dinnerware set. Often I mix up the plates, bowls and dessert plates but today we went solid black. I have linked up some similar plates for you but I actually found mine at Value Village several years ago
I searched high and low for purple linen napkins but I had to revert to paper. No matter I was still able to fold them in a more traditional fold and then showcase a broom and hat. I know, where is the fun napkin fold.
Over the years I have gotten rid of coloured flatware, so today I used my silverware, often with a fancier table I dig out my Nana’s flatware. The Halloween theme still needed to resonate so I used pumpkin carving tools as knife rests.
Additional Table Accents
For glassware, I obviously always add wine glasses because that is how I roll. Even when someone is younger or not a wine drinker because I will use them for water glasses. Everyone feeling included. In 2020 I found the most perfect Halloween Champagne Goblets at Dollar Tree. Well in 2021 they came back in stock so I picked up the purple stemless goblets as well.
Wine bottle lights covered in Pumpkin themed banners, a few poison vials and seasonal salt and paper shakers completed the look
The completed table for 2021
It is always the small touches that make the most impact for me . An eyeball staring up at you, a skeleton hand around your goblet, even poison vials. All provide a festive touch to your table that will have all your guests smiling. OH WAIT, did I say guests. Heck yea, it is 2021 and restrictions are lifted. Hello time to entertain.
