Happy July… oops I guess its actually August, where has the summer gone. No Matter we are here and we are ready to party together, and with that welcome to Happiness is Homemade 648!
This week we’re celebrating one of the very best parts of summer!
I’m Linda from A Labour of Life, and I’ll be your host throughout the summer. I’m so happy you’re here!
Our blogging community has certainly changed over the years. At one point we had a dozen co-hosts, and today we’re down to three. Even so, this weekly party continues because of all of you. Your creativity, recipes, DIY projects, crafts, travel stories, home inspiration, and seasonal ideas are what make Happiness is Homemade such a special place each week.
If you’re a blogger and have ever thought about becoming a co-host, we’d love to hear from you. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.
Now let’s celebrate another week of amazing inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating. Be sure to link up your latest posts, visit a few others, and spread a little blogging love along the way.

Happiness is Homemade 648 Features
I swore this week was going to be summer theme not a red white and blue theme but there were too many fun July 4th features not to scream Holiday theme to me.
Daisy Inspired Tablescape

boohoo a return to one of my favorite type of features, a TABLESCAPE. If you have been following for a bit you know I(LInda) loves to share a fun table. This one is summer perfect. Daisies take center stage in this table design and provide a cheery and happy feel. The daisy motif plus the white and yellow color palette guide the table design, giving it a wild daisy carefree aura.
10 Crochet Gifts That Don’t Suck; Handmade Ideas for Any Occasion

These projects aren’t things screaming “look how hard I worked!” They’re just genuinely useful, thoughtful, and slightly weird in a way that Target can’t replicate no matter how hard they try.
Here are 10 crochet gifts that don’t suck and work for any occasion.
Spicy Watermelon Paloma

This recipe actually calls for fresh watermelon AND fresh jalapeño so it is extra nice. Making a Spicy Watermelon Paloma is so easy and you are really going to enjoy it
Lemon Kitchen Decor Ideas: 17 Fresh Ways to Brighten Your Kitchen + Free Printable

Lemon kitchen decor ideas are one of the simplest, most cheerful ways to bring life into the heart of your home. Whether you are starting with a single bowl of lemons or styling an entire counter moment, this is summer decor that works beautifully all year long!
Easy Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

Nothing says summer quite like a warm, homemade Blackberry Cobbler fresh from the oven. Bursting with juicy blackberries and topped with a soft, buttery biscuit topping that’s golden brown and slightly crisp around the edges, this classic dessert is simple enough for a weeknight yet special enough for family gatherings and potlucks.
