To remind you of a few facts Barbara is a best-selling author with a passion for empowering women over fifty to embrace – and proudly show off – their age. Now she’s addressing bladder sensitivity to help women do the things they love without holding back.
Her words stuck with me and I am trying folks really I am, the treadmill has been unfolded and I am starting my journey again. Her words are inspiring and for me its a plan, a specific plan of how i can go from walking to running without feeling defeated.
So my original plan was to get the party started and get you talking, so tell me have you mentioned it at all? Have you talked to even one person about it? I did, I finally felt comfortable enough to tell my partner, not that it was a surprise to him at all because hello road trips and pee stops every twenty minutes are usually a big indicator that there may be an issue. AND writing three blog posts when he reads your blog probably really helped crack the ice.
Remember Always Discreet is on twitter or facebook so at a minimum start following them and just listen to the conversations, like most things in life its recognizing we have a problem that starts us down the road to the solution.
Plus I still think a wine twitter party,is a great idea. lets pick a day and we will all sit around our own homes with a bottle of wine ( red or white your choice) and as we sip our wine we will have a gals chat party where we post tweets about I pee and I am still proud, or It’s my potty and I will pee if I want to, OK you get the idea, if we can’t talk in person lets be anonymous together on the internet.
On a serious note folks remember we all pee, some of us more frequently than others, some of us in inconvenient places, but we all PEE so its OK to talk about it, next time just yell out ” Move out of the way woman with a small bladder coming through…” or how about “out of my way or you clean it up…. or how about none of those things being required because we are Always Discreet so therefore we are Always prepared.
