Well we picked a great week to be away, perfect weather, sunny days and then Saturday after we arrived home the snow started ( so again picked a good Monday to still be off and miss the crazy snow traffic). I guess Fall has finally said goodbye.
On this gorgeous Friday I pulled out my Favourite Tunic from New Chic and my Camera Necklace for our last day in the mountains. I could not believe it was twenty degrees Celsius or 72 F. Crazy great weather for a no jacket required kind of day. This is a special treat too, my camera died so I had to revert to the Iphone and that meant Kent as the photographer. These are all non selfies. Kent just may have a career as my go to camera guy.
We spent a few hours sightseeing, went up to the Lookout on Blue Mountain, what a spectacular view.
Then off to Wasaga Beach, the longest freshwater beach in the world. A popular summer tourist destination, located along the southern end of Georgian Bay, approximately two hours north of Toronto, and neighbours, to the west, the town of Collingwood. Wasaga Beach is situated along 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) of sandy beach on Nottawasaga Bay and the winding Nottawasaga River. I am thinking the town is crazy in the summer, really pretty beach though.
and then to top it off a quick stop to Beaver Valley Cider Company to try a few more amazing ciders. They have a Cranberry and a Ginger that are quite unique and interesting. More details on BV Cider coming soon.
