Happy Thursday and Happy A Labour of Fashion link up. Good lord I do not know where the time is going. I seem to be saying that a lot lately but life just keeps happening.
Blogging and Real Life
First let’s start with the fact that I love blogging. It is an extension of me and my life and something I love sharing. It is often tough to keep up with blog, job and general life. Sometimes we get thrown a few curve balls and we can roll with it or let us derail things. After vacation and dealing with a few curve balls I oped to ease up on the posting to save my sanity.
Well now I am back and focused and ready to tackle my next challenge. It is a funny world this blogosphere. Time consuming, sometimes frustrating yet often rewarding in a weird way. I have been feeling so scattered and I need to get more focused. Today is the first day of my next step. A focused direction or so I hope.
What makes you visit the blog
Looking for some direction here folks, what makes you visit? or keep returning? Is it fashion, or life? Travel or food? Stories of Lou or music? or maybe a bit of everything? I am interested in what you like to read, what you want to see and how I can better serve you.
Today’s New Chic Look
Today I am styling a favourite look. Wearing once again a signature style and one I wore often. The New Chic Tunic was almost an accidental purchase but one that has served me well for years. I adore the colour, and the fit well so forgiving. Even after a vacation I still feel slim, trim and fit.
Adding pleather leggings, a fun boot and my little camera necklace. This is apparently my signature A Labour of Fashion Look.

I always love a good tunic especially in a bright color. You could also pair this with white jeans and cute sandals for the Spring!

Oh no, sorry this year has been tough for you so far!! It has been kind of hard here too, not with a death or anything, but sickness, my husband has been traveling a lot and we had some fridge problems (and the fridge is only 6 mo old). I’ve broken a toe before, that hurts!!!! I just love hot pink right now, so of course I am loving this pink top on you and the tunic length!

Isn’t it the best, I always feel so great in this tunic.

I always love the picture of you in this top and can certainly see why it’s a favorite. The color is gorgeous and then when I saw the back, well it’s just as cute going as it is coming. I love seeing how others are styling things and of course from time to time there’s some nugget of info that’s just too good. XO
linda cassidy says
Thanks. I wish I had gotten the tunic in several colours but the pink well it always makes me smile. I love seeing posts of what people are wearing and how they are living. Plus , well just about everything fun.
Deborah Stinedurf says
I love that shade of pink! It’s so bright and happy and Spring-ish! I of course enjoy seeing what you are wearing, but I also like reading about what you are up to. I prefer a fashion/style blog with a little meat to it in regard to writing.

I found my “meat” has been lagging lately because of life interruptions. Funny to go back in history and see how much I use to actually write. I want that back
Shelbee on the Edge says
Linda, I am struggling as well trying to balance it all…blogging, kids, family, work, and other projects I am working on as well as just having some fun and living life. And man, things really can catch up to you and derail you, can’t they? But persist through it all we must. And do. Because we are rock starts! All of us! I am loving this bright pink tunic. The shape is super cute!

Kellyann Rohr says
It is hard to keep all the balls of life up in the air sometimes! I swear, i get focused and have a clear mission and then boom! I get derailed. But I guess bouncing back is key, right?! I read blogs because I enjoy seeing every day women wear clothes I can relate too and become inspired by!
xo,
Kellyann

such a great way of looking at it, getting derailed but bouncing back and sharing who we are. I love getting inspired by those I follow.
