Snow has fallen, the decorations are up, the American Thanksgiving has come and gone so I guess that means it is Christmas time.  I love this time of year, I bake a zillion cookies ( OK maybe only 30 dozen or so but it is a lot), buy a million presents ( or lots) and play a ton of music (ok that one is accurate)Nothing is better then hanging around the house, cooking or cleaning or wrapping or even just vegging while Christmas music is playing.  Christmas music just makes everything better even scubbing toilets ( I said better not great) The most relaxing place to be during December is anywhere there is music playing.
We normally purchase two cd’s each season( although Kent says one) but this year I had to buy three, I just could not decide Scotty, Taylor and the Canadian Tenors, all very different but wonderful heart warming music.

My taste in Christmas music is very eclectic, my inner twang comes out, I do not personally think many people do Christmas songs as well as the Country singers. I bounce from Alabama to Scotty to Hilary Duff to Sons of Maxwell to the Tenors…..

This is my Christmas collection and yes like everything else in my life I apparently do this to the extreme degree as well. Guess I can fit in with the #mommyiscoocoo linkup.

Two of my favourite CD’s not known to a lot of people are from the Sons of Maxwell ( you may now of Dave from United Breaks Guitars) The two brothers rank amoungst my fav musicians and their Christmas CD’s are now a family Tradition.  Give them a listen sometime.

So as we get closer to the big day and our stress levels start rising, take a deep breath and put on some music and let the warm feelings of the season take hold.
I leave you with a little inspiration:  This is my eldest Step Son and I promise you take a few minutes to listen you will not be disappointed.
