I’ve Got You was the first release off of the Honest Heart Collective’s new Album Grief Rights. And I know you now what I am talking about right? My boys and their band just released their sophomore album and I really wanted to mark the occasion with something special. A small token of remembrance to commemorate an amazing Album and a unforgettable song.

The first release off the album has been streaming on Spotify like crazy and then there was the video. I mean no bias but you need to watch. “I’ve Got You” a song that tugs at the heartstrings.

As THHC indicates It’s hard to stand by, and watch someone lose a loved one. You’ll feel helpless, and you might not know what to say or do, but there’s nothing anyone can do to take the pain away. Instant comfort doesn’t exist here. So we sit, we listen, we cry, and we hold on through it. Together. We remind them I’ve Got You.

Coincidentally I was contacted by Personalizedcart.com and asked if I was interested in working together. I spotted the wood watch with a leather strap and I knew I had found the perfect gift. The boys have always loved Kent’s wood watches but to find one with a leather strap was perfect. A lightweight watch that they can still comfortably wear while playing on stage.

Personalized.com though, actually personalizes the gifts. I asked for I’ve Got You to be engraved on the back, a special reminder of this special time. The watch is beautiful and even more special was the fact they all came in a carved wood box personalized to them.

From Order to Delivery

I ordered the watches on May 2nd and they arrived on May 29th. The only sad part of that is Kent left on the 29th so I did not get a chance to get the boys their watches for the Thunder Bay Release show. No matter a friend is taking them this weekend and I know they will be thrilled to receive the after show surprise.

I was able to give Kent his when he got home and he loved it. Go figure I even managed to keep it all a surprise till he got home. That is a bit of a feat for me, normally I have to tell as soon as I order something, I get to excited. Now however, I am kicking myself for not getting Jay and Kevin one. Looks like I will have to get them each a watch, maybe with Separate Ways on the back, which was the second release, or even Strike Sound.
