If you have been following me then you know I am on a bit of a life style change. What that actually means is I am on a diet. Why are we so afraid to use that word? I went to the doctor she said I needed to lose a few pounds so I am on a D.I.E.T. This diet is a way to get my weight, my sugars and my enzymes under control. Then I will incorporate some life style changes. Now my sweet tooth is really liking this Low Cal/Low Carb Chocolate Mousse
Low Carb Chocolate Mousse
Normally low cal/low carb means low flavour but this is actually not bad. I am going to be quite frank here it’s not a decadent chocolate dessert but it is a sweet that satisfies. You can actually use a regular pudding mix and it may be more rich. I however am trying really hard to stay the course and re-adjust my taste buds.

Low Cal Chocolate Mousse
For Superbowl Sunday I thought having a little sweet treat would appease my taste buds. A little bit of chocolate that would not set me back. This was so quick and easy to make. Two ingredients, ready in five minutes. Now if you are not ready for a lo-cal change I do have a scrumptious Bailey’s Chocolate Mousse you can try or maybe a Bourbon Chocolate Mousse or Just a Regular rich Chocolate Mousse.

Mousse Consistency
It actually only takes about two minutes of whipping to create the perfect consistency. For a summer time treat you can freeze the mousse and it makes an ice-cream dessert. It also can be used as pie filling if you prefer.

Your calorie count is VERY wrong. One cup of whipping cream has over eight hundred calories…that means that two cups has 1600. Divide that by four (for four servings) and each serving WITHOUT THE CALORIES OF THE PUDDING is 400 calories.
