Tis that time of year again, a change of season means a required change in wreaths. I have a wreath hanging over my fireplace and with a quick slight of hand and the assistance of some decomesh, maybe some burlap and a few other odds and ends it changes each season.
For this fall I decided to leave the burlap and cream decomesh.
Step one is to add some orange decomesh. I find it best to follow a pattern of alternating loops.
adding the orange so that it overlaps with the burlap.
I am keeping this one simple, burlap, cream and orange, add a few paper flowers in cream and sage
I created a Fall Banner using spare burlap (with chevron stripes)
glued triangle chalkboard banners
printed FALL
and there ya have it, summer into fall in three easy steps.

Okay this might be a dumb question – but how do you get the ribbon and burlap to lay on the wreath like that?
Linda Cassidy says
you bunch it and use the stems to tie it. Both the burlap and the decomesh are firm enoun they hold their shape.
