Is there anything prettier than a fully set dining room table? Well maybe a fully set Frozen Table. The colours just make one smile. We were having a dinner table last weekend and I was tired of my winterscape. I needed something fresh and fun and well almost springlike. Not that I am longing for warmer temperatures, well except yes I am.
Frozen Table and a Touch of Spring
We were having a dinner party on Sunday and I bought a new dining room set. I mean how crazy is that right? On the hunt for a few chairs and I purchased a whole set of Kijiji instead. It’s a perfect match to my exisiting set. Now I have chairs for 10 that match, two tables and two Buffets/Hutch. Best thing is now my Rae Dunn has a cabinet all her own.
It was not an intentional purchase/shopping spree but it sure worked. With two tables I also decided I should pick up two tablecloths that matched so when everyone was over both would look the same. I hated having non matching cloths at Christmas. So new set, new cloths and of course new napkins. Doesn’t everyone do this for a dinner party>
Colours for the Year
The debate at Homesense was neutral beige or a fun colour. I swear I spent 40 minutes in the store debating what to do. Honestly, there should not have been any debate this colour is my colour. Plus last Thanksgiving I used teal and pink accessories, Christmas was Pink so why would I not get Aqua right.
Sadly I have never gone to Homesense without also going to Michaels. What that means is accessory/floral shopping. New chargers and new flowers helped complete my tablesetting this year.
My Eternal Blush Noritake China is also perfectly suitable. The key is any table setting is search your home for complimentary or matching colours. Think outside the norm and just go with a colour theme not a style. It will all come together perfectly I promise.
Not A Wedding Table
Funny thing, I loved this table but when I looked at it set up I was reminded of a wedding. I teased Devin that I was testing out colour schemes for her upcoming nuptials. Steering off the Wedding I started thinking it’s a Frozen Theme too. So lets go with that
