Happy Monday everyone, good gosh today is already July 19th , where is the time going. I have been slack on sharing but not on creating, this is table number four for the Summer but first to post yikes. . How fun is using lemons to create the perfect Summer Table?.
Something about Summer and great weather helping me get my mojo back. The weather is hot, the sun is shining and the pool is lemon refreshing. And I have been finding lemon inspiration all over the place.

Lemon Tablescape for Summer
This weeks summer table is a lemon base with black and white accents. I took my inspiration from the adorable printable I found on line. Also inspiring me to create a few printables of my own to share with you. Back on track, lemons are everywhere this season and I really wanted to jump on that truck.
First time with a lemony fresh theme and using my Yellow Cloth that has been stored away. Sadly this beautiful yellow tablecloth has never been featured on the blog, how did that happen.
My Summer Inspiration
Ironically my inspiration for the table was my Tierd Tray. I went lemon happy andn thought, his would make an amazing table. Add to that the printable I found with a black and white truck and I was hooked. Pulling out the yellow table cloth and then topping it off with the black and white plaid runner from Hobby Lobby, it was perfect.
Remembering I also had chargers to match, I was on a roll. I used the chargers from Michaels topped with a large white dinner plate and a small white salad plate.
I opted to use a solid yellow cloth napkin and went with a basic fold. Placing the napkin under the salad plate for a spash of colour. Adding a lemon to each plate was a fun twist. Solid white knife rests and my julliard silver completed each place setting.
The Lemon Centrepiece
For my simple or easy peasy lemon squeezy centrepiece, yep lemons. I found a few sprigs of lemons, white flowers and leaves at Micheals and they were perfect for my summer tablescape. . Adding the sprigs to a simple pinwheel vase and I was set. or almost set, can a bouquet be complete without tulle? A bit of yellow tulle cut and placed strategically amoung the lemons and flowers. Is a table ever complete without candles?
I added a few small plain white votives and two small bud vases with a lemon and a carnation and some yellow tulle.. Just a few simple additions. Wine bottle lights add the perfect touch.
What to Serve on a Summer Lemon Table
No question a Summer lemon table calls for a light and refreshing menu. I think the Lemon Cheesecake might be a tad over the top but it is lemon so heck yea. I wen with a light chicken dish followed by a tasty lemon dessert. Cheesy I know but it really did work.
My Lemon Inspiration
If you recall I found inspiration from a printable so I thought maybe I could inspire you as well. Sharing a Free Squeeze the Day little printable (click to download) I made for my buffet. The perfect accent for my lemon table.
Have you jumped on the lemon theme yet?

A sunny, summer table that brightens one’s day! I also just set an outdoor table with a lemon theme, using lemon decorated dishes and glasses from DT. Enjoyed seeing your styling.
